UUGGHH, SO TIRED, KEENING

Noise/Grind/Math/Duo UUGGHH will be celebrating the release of their EP ‘FREAKOSYSTEM’ Saturday Dec 13. Expect heavy double kicks, spastic bass vi riffs, and banshee screams. Often likened to Lightning Bolt & Botch, their sound has been described as two trolls under a bridge playing with a satanic dial up modem. Expect to be locked in and blown to bits.

So Tired is a metallic smash-in-the-face mix of post-punk, grunge, and industrial. Anticipate feeling funny inside when front woman Miranda puts you in your place. If The Melvins and Garbage had copulated So Tired would be their screeching, rusty, stink-face-inducing offspring.

Keening is a Toronto-based screamo band. Their latest release, ‘you are so small and the world is so big’ weaves post-hardcore yesteryear riffs with dream-like textural licks and searing bass lines, bringing you the fresh, crystalline screamo for what this city is known for.
